They used the special colours of every key, used the strong and the weak tones and even the slightest nuances between two notes that those instruments could produce to let the composed phrases come alive, for displaying clearly the hidden character of a phrase or even the reason for composition. For this reason, the musicians of this ensemble play on period instruments. Hajo Wienroth, the founder of „Le Chardon”, takes you through this website and wants to introduce you to some of his projects and the work of the ensemble.
