Hajo Bäß (Violin, Viola)
Studied violin at the College of Music in Cologne;
1973 founder member of ,,Musica Antiqua Köln“; with this ensemble produced many prize awarded CD recordings;
1987 to 1989 Teacher at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.
1986 Founder member of „Les Adieux”.
With this ensemble numerous CD-productions, like the recording of the piano quintets by Luigi Boccherini (Harmonia mundi), the string quintets "L’Amante abadonée", "Une Fête de Village en Suisse" by Sigismund Neukomm and the three string trios op. 3 by Hyacinthe Jadin (NCA).
Concerts lead Hajo Bäß through all the world.
2007 CD Arias by J.S. Bach and G.F. Handel for counter and orchestra together with rediscovered concertos and doubleconcertos for flute, oboe and violin by Quantz, Fasch, Telemann. Soloists: Maarten Engeltjes counter, Hajo Wienroth traversflute, Mark Baigent oboe and Simon Standage violin.
With this CD production: live recording by NDR of a concert at the International Musikfest in Seelze broadcasted on 6. Juli 2007.
